In a nutshell

On a rainy night of a long weekend in Delhi, we were hungry for some North Eastern food. That’s when we chanced upon North East Flavours on Zomato and boy are we glad that we did! The good news for all Zomato Gold members is that they accept it and the great news for others is that it is affordable anyway.

In a conversation with Bill (the owner), he mentioned he wants to maintain the place as a fresh, healthy, cozy and affordable eatery. We can say he certainly has kept the food consistently fresh and healthy while providing the best customer service. If you visit this place once, you will crave to revisit.

Their menu is filled with authentic dishes from all seven states of North East India. We love the Raja Mirchi chutney and herbs that accompanies every meal.

Star dishes

Start off with Pork Spare Ribs (Nagaland style), Mangsuso Nu-Kung (Naga style smoked buff with natural herbs), Chicken Momos (Sikkim), Chicken Dry Fried (Manipur).

For the main course, our top favourite is the Voksa Rep Chhum (Mizoram smoked pork with yam and herbs) followed by Wokoso Rhuchii (Naga pork curry with bamboo shoot and herbs) with sticky red rice and Machli-Han (Ancient Naga style chutney). If you prefer Chicken, try Tokhan (Tripura chicken curry with herbs and tomatoes.)

Go in a big group so you can try a bit of everything. Share your number with them as they have great deals and offers.
